Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including workstations and dining areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation and serving of light snacks or pastries as required. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Skills

Previous barista experience is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to craft excellent beverages. Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Proficient in serving customers with a friendly attitude, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders accurately. Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Experience in food preparation is an advantage, contributing to overall cafe operations.
