We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and providing exceptional service to our patrons.
Duties
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills for accurate billing.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Provide help to customers regarding menu items and make recommendations based on their preferences.
Skills
Strong understanding of food safety practices is essential.
Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not mandatory.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders effectively.
A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers enjoy their experience.
