Experienced Barista & Front of House

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- Prepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and order calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Understanding of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a barista in a high-volume coffee shop or cafe

- Proficiency in espresso preparation, latte art, and various brewing techniques

- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, origins, and flavour characteristics

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering a great customer experience

- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
