Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages. Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries regarding menu items. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Ensure adherence to food safety standards during food preparation and beverage service. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to fulfil customer orders promptly while maintaining quality service.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous but can be learned on the job. A genuine passion for coffee culture and customer service is essential for success in this role.
