Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and tea but also ensuring that all food safety standards are met while creating a delightful experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene standards. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills for accurate billing. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Support team members by helping with tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is an advantage but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is required to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing orders. Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for coffee and customer service will enhance your success in this role. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being proactive in assisting others.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
