One of the city's most iconic department stores is opening a new restaurant:

Seventy Five at Liberty

. Located within our Grade II-listed boutique, this vibrant dining space reflects the elegance and charm of the store.

As a

Barista

, you'll be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and beverages while providing a warm and welcoming experience for every guest. Your passion for coffee, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to maintaining our high standards.

Responsibilities:

Coffee Preparation:

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and hot beverages to brand standards.

Customer Service:

Provide a friendly and engaging experience for guests.

Efficiency:

Maintain speed and accuracy during busy periods.

Menu Knowledge:

Have a strong understanding of coffee, teas, and specialty drinks.

Stock Management:

Monitor and restock coffee supplies as needed.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure coffee machines and equipment are clean and in good working order.

Hygiene & Cleanliness:

Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following food safety standards.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.

Upselling:

Recommend beverages and pastries to enhance the guest experience.

Opening & Closing Duties:

Assist in setting up and closing the coffee station.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous barista experience in a busy cafe or restaurant. Passion for coffee and great attention to detail. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Knowledge of different coffee beans, brewing methods, and milk texturing. A proactive and team-oriented attitude.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 15.50 per hour

Monday to Friday Weekend availability
