Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly crafting high-quality beverages. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, to complement beverage offerings. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate cash registers and handle transactions efficiently while maintaining basic math skills for accurate billing. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours.

Experience

Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates. Knowledge of food safety practices is important to ensure the health and safety of our customers. Experience in serving food and beverages in a fast-paced environment will be an advantage. Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.
