We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages, as well as other menu items Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating areas Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and serving Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when needed Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment

Skills

Previous Barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Strong understanding of food safety practices Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Basic food preparation skills to assist in menu item creation Proficient in basic maths for handling cash transactions accurately Effective time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods
