Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and serving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations based on customer preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours while managing time effectively.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team are essential for this role.
