We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and smoothies
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the preparation area
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently
Handle food preparation tasks as required, including baking pastries or preparing light snacks
Maintain inventory levels of supplies and assist with restocking as needed
Operate coffee machines and equipment safely while performing routine maintenance
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
Perform basic mathematical calculations for transactions and cash handling
Experience
Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for enthusiastic candidates
Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial
Basic math skills are necessary for handling payments and giving change
Strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently
