We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

waitress

to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and light food items. Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a passion for coffee and food service, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring quality standards are met. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or pastries when required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and dining area in accordance with food safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper food safety procedures. Work efficiently within a team to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience as a

Barista/ Waitress

or in a similar food service role is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Knowledge of

food safety

standards is advantageous. Experience in

serving

customers and handling cash transactions is beneficial. Basic skills in

food preparation

are preferred. Good

time management

skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak times. Ability to perform basic

maths

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
