Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and light food items. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and surfaces in compliance with food safety standards. Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, cups, lids, and other ingredients or materials. Follow food safety procedures diligently to ensure hygiene standards are met. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or pastries when required. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Requirements

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of

food safety

regulations and best practices is essential. Experience with

serving

customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous. Basic skills in

food preparation

and handling light snacks or ingredients are desirable. Good

time management

skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Basic

maths

skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities. Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
