Duties
Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company recipes and standards.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed during food preparation and service.
Take customer orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and handle cash or card transactions with precision.
Maintain a clean and organised work station, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and surfaces regularly.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers politely and professionally.
Assist with food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling sandwiches or snacks.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
Previous experience as a
Barista
or in food service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Preferable SCA Trainning - Barista Skills
Knowledge of
food safety
standards is highly desirable.
Food Hygiene level 2.
Experience in
serving
customers with professionalism and friendliness.
Basic
food preparation
skills are advantageous.
Good
time management
skills to handle peak periods efficiently.
Ability to perform simple
maths
calculations accurately for cash handling and order processing.
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork.
