Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and contributing to the cafe's commercial success. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and achieving individual and team sales targets. Previous experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks Deliver consistently high levels of customer service in a friendly and professional manner Actively contribute to achieving daily and monthly sales targets through upselling and product knowledge Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including cleaning equipment and utensils Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems with basic maths skills Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts Assist with food preparation when required, maintaining hygiene standards Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times and maximise customer satisfaction

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prepare food and beverages efficiently while maintaining quality standards Sales-driven mindset with confidence in recommending products Good organisational and time management skills Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
