Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment. Prior experience is desirable, and additional training will be provided to ensure you excel in your role.

Duties

Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards. Serve customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience at all times. Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all aspects of food preparation and service. Operate cash registers accurately, process payments efficiently, and provide correct change. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organising ingredients and supplies. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure customer orders are fulfilled promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment and sanitising surfaces regularly. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Experience

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous. Basic maths skills are essential for handling transactions accurately. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Good time management skills to prioritise duties during busy periods. Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
