We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of beverages including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks according to company recipes and standards. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas in compliance with food safety regulations. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Provide friendly and attentive service, addressing customer queries and feedback professionally. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites when required. Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety practices is desirable to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in serving customers in a hospitality environment is advantageous. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately. Strong organisational skills and effective time management are essential to prioritise tasks during busy periods. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
