Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of beverages including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks with attention to quality and presentation Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system with basic maths skills Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in accordance with food safety standards Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as required Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Manage time effectively to handle busy periods without compromising service quality

Qualifications

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in a similar food service role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures is preferred Experience in

serving

customers and handling transactions confidently Basic

food preparation

skills are advantageous Good

time management

skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods Ability to perform basic

maths

accurately for cash handling and order calculations Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour
