We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers by preparing high-quality beverages and providing outstanding service. Your expertise in hospitality and food production will contribute to a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist in managing inventory levels and placing orders for supplies as needed. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Supervise junior staff members, offering guidance and support as necessary. Uphold the cafe's standards for quality and presentation of all food and beverage items. Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in bartending techniques and culinary knowledge.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a barista or hospitality role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Exceptional communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about new products and trends. Experience in supervising staff or managing small teams is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.20-12.80 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
