We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Barista to join our team. If you have a love for coffee and a passion for dogs, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a Barista at Dou Bagels Cafe, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your affinity for dogs will help foster a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and their pets.
Duties:
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders.
Create high-quality latte art to enhance the customer experience.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cafe area.
Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner.
Regularly check inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.
Identify low stock items and promptly report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Assist in food preparation and serving when required.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience as a Barista.
Ability to create latte art is a must.
Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions.
Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
