We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

This role IS NOT SUITABLE FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS as it will mainly require weekday work but also weekend shifts

This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth operation of the cafe during busy periods. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful applicant will play a vital role in representing our brand and ensuring customers enjoy an exceptional experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly service Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts Assist with food preparation tasks when required, ensuring quality standards are met Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during peak hours Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper food handling procedures

Qualifications

Previous

barista experience

is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of

food safety

standards is advantageous Experience in

customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred Basic
