We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will ensure that every customer enjoys their experience with us.

Duties

- Being able to create latte art.

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene standards. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations as needed. Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for till operations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to ensure the availability of products. Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere and provide exceptional customer service.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe/ coffee shop or similar environment is required!! Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively without compromising quality. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous to maintain high standards in food preparation. Basic maths skills are necessary for processing transactions accurately. A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding service is essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 18 per week
