Immediate Start | Progression into Shift Leader Role

We're looking for a passionate and quality-driven

Barista

to join the team at

Parc Pantry

- a neighbourhood coffee shop in Malpas, Newport, with a growing reputation for great coffee, fresh food, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe.

We genuinely care about

coffee done right

- from dialling in espresso to steaming milk correctly for each drink (no flat white cappuccinos here!). We're looking for someone with

experience in specialty coffee

, who takes real pride not just in their coffee skills, but also in preparing

great food

and delivering excellent hospitality.

You'll need to be confident both

on bar and in the kitchen

, working across stations to help deliver the kind of food and coffee experience we're known for. If you're passionate about quality in all areas of the shop - this could be the perfect fit.

What You'll Be Doing

Preparing high-quality coffee and drinks with care and consistency Understanding milk textures, alternative milks, and recipe ratios Assisting with food prep and kitchen prep when needed Creating a welcoming space for every customer Keeping the workspace clean, organised and safe Collaborating with the team to keep service smooth and friendly Supporting daily operations, with a chance to progress into a

shift leader role

What We're Looking For

A love for coffee (and willingness to learn about the details that make it special) Strong time management and calm under pressure A genuine, friendly approach to customer service A proactive, can-do attitude and team mindset Experience in coffee or hospitality is essential.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
