Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Applicants MUST have a minimum of 1yrs previous experience as a skilled Barista & be able to work a mix of weekdays, evenings and weekends on a rota basis!

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food service, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate record-keeping. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management. Uphold health and safety regulations within the cafe environment.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of food safety practices. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively. Excellent time management abilities to ensure timely service during busy periods. Strong interpersonal skills to engage positively with customers and team members alike. A genuine passion for coffee culture and a willingness to learn about various brewing methods and beverage styles.

Pay: 11.44-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
