Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in food safety and barista skills will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food and drink items are prepared to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and dining area. Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is essential; Strong knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Effective time management abilities to thrive in a busy setting. A friendly disposition with strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
