We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. This is a weekend role and must be able to work weekends The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers and working in the food service industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces regularly. Follow food safety standards and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Restock supplies as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the outlet during shifts. Assist with food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals. Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times and optimise customer satisfaction.

Skills

Proven

barista experience

or strong interest in developing coffee-making skills. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures in a food service setting. Experience in

serving

customers with professionalism and courtesy. Ability to perform

food preparation

tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene. Good

basic maths

skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent

time management

skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
