Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to health regulations.
Engage with customers to take orders accurately and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, applying basic maths skills for payment processing.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Uphold the highest standards of customer service by being attentive and responsive to customer needs.
Experience
Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
A solid understanding of food safety practices is desirable.
Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions and managing orders.
Strong time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
