As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness in the cafe area, including food preparation stations, dining areas, and equipment. Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines during food handling and preparation. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Experience in food service or the food industry is advantageous. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety practices is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy cafe setting. Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-14.35 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
