As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages. Your role will involve not only crafting delicious drinks but also ensuring that every customer leaves with a smile. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, ensuring all equipment is clean and functioning properly. Assist customers with their orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and service. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A keen interest in food preparation and beverage crafting is desirable.
