Monday-Friday, 10am -2:30pm

every week with possible half-term shifts. Depending on ongoing college classes.

Responsibilities:

Coffee Alchemy: Espresso extraction, milk steaming, and various brewing techniques (e.g., pour-over, drip) to create flawless hot and cold coffee beverages. Latte art, crafting beautiful designs to delight customers and enhance their coffee experience. Guide customers through the diverse coffee menu, recommending perfect pairings based on their tastes and dietary needs. Explain the origins and profiles of the different coffee beans offered at Naked Coffee. Customer Concierge: Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, ensuring every interaction is positive and memorable. Take orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring all specifications are met. Process cash and credit card transactions with speed and precision. Serve food and beverages promptly and neatly, presenting orders in an appealing and professional manner. Actively listen to customer inquiries and address their needs promptly and effectively. Coffee Crusader: Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout your shift, including wiping down counters, restocking supplies, and polishing equipment. Collaborate with colleagues to tackle end-of-day cleaning duties, leaving the shop sparkling for the next morning. Dispose of waste properly and ensure hygienic conditions are maintained throughout the shop. Stay informed about ethical sourcing and sustainable practices related to coffee production. Additional Responsibilities: Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting colleagues and fostering teamwork. Remain flexible and adaptable, capable of handling busy periods and unexpected situations with a positive attitude. Learn and follow established company policies and procedures, including cash handling protocols and food safety regulations. Continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow within the role, taking initiative to expand your coffee knowledge and barista skills.
Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a coffee shop or cafe Barista training or experience Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and espresso machines Cash handling experience Basic food preparation skills Proficient in basic computer skills
