Hull Minster is embarking on a new venture; After a multi-million-pound development and the creation of a new hospitality and Heritage facility,

Trininty Room

will be a new high-quality cafe, with a fresh vibrant menu, delectable cakes, lovely coffees, accompanied by a strong community focus. The cafe will meet the needs of the visitors to Hull Minster as well as that of the surrounding residents, and businesses of Hull's Old Town.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with experience in customer service in the cafe/restaurant sector. Skills preparing and serving food, beverages, and barista experience is essential.

Responsibilities/requirements:

Provide excellent customer service,

Take orders and use Epos till system,

Prepare and serve drinks,

Prepare and serve menu items,

Cleaning duties,

Adhere to all Fire/health & safety protocols,

And smile......

We are looking for a person with a willingness to knuckle-down and do the hard work alongside the whole team, have a strong work ethic, and promote the community values of Trinity Room at Hull Minster.

PURPOSE OF JOB
To assist in all aspects of the Cafe, whilst remaining consistent with its Christian ethos and community focus.

WORKING HOURS
zero hours, expetting to be around 12 hours per week.
The Job Holder will be expected to work flexibly within the opening hours of the cafe, including weekends and bank holidays. There is scope for hours to increase in due course as the cafe grows

REMUNERATION
12.21 per hour

The Management Committee reserves the right to change or update the from time to time in agreement with the Post Holder.

NATURE AND SCOPE
The success of the Cafe is dependent on the effectiveness of the management and their team. The whole operation must present a friendly and welcoming environment in which customers and volunteers alike feel comfortable, enjoying excellent service.
A combination of flexibility, enthusiasm, innovation and sound organisational skills is essential.
