Overview

As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils, in accordance with food safety regulations. Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers, helping them with their selections and answering any questions they may have. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring basic maths skills are applied when processing payments. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Knowledge of food safety practices is important to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role. A keen interest in coffee culture and beverage preparation will be advantageous.
