You have to be able to properly texture milk; taste the difference between acidic and bitter; understand how to dial in; have experience of working in a speciality coffee shop/cafe.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers. Ensure all food safety regulations are followed during food preparation and serving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including equipment and work areas. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for register operations. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs promptly. Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Assist in training new staff members on barista skills and shop procedures.

Experience

Previous barista experience is essential Understand dialling in. Can prepare a wide range of espresso based coffees. Fast hands. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial. Strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently. Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 45 per week
