We're looking for an enthusiastic

Barista

to join our friendly team. If you love coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for customer service, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety standards. Take customer orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions with precision. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and surfaces regularly. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites when required. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods through good time management skills.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety regulations is desirable to maintain hygiene standards. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling payments accurately. Strong organisational skills combined with effective time management are essential to prioritise tasks efficiently.
