Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that each beverage is crafted to perfection while providing an exceptional experience for our patrons. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and dining area Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Assist with food preparation as needed, including pastries and light snacks Manage customer orders efficiently while providing excellent service Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Demonstrate effective time management to meet customer demands promptly

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing orders Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting
