Barista

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in accordance with food safety standards. Take customer orders accurately and process transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers, addressing any special requests or dietary needs. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Follow health and safety regulations at all times, including proper food handling procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.

Experience

Previous

barista experience

is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of

food safety

standards is advantageous. Experience in

serving

customers in a busy environment is desirable. Basic

food preparation

skills are beneficial. Good

time management

skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Basic

maths

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-16.59 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
