We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages. Your ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service will enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation, adhering to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in a coffee shop environment is essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions and managing inventory. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. A passion for coffee and customer service will set you apart as an ideal candidate.

Pay: 11.44-15.35 per hour
