Overview

We are a small, family run Cafe and Farmshop up in Speldhurst. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing high quality beverages. We are looking for someone that loves coffee as much as us!

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area, including equipment and utensils. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Engage with customers, providing exceptional service and assistance in selecting menu items. Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support one another during busy periods.

Skills

Barista trained Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. A willingness to help customers with their needs, providing friendly and attentive service. Experience or interest in food preparation techniques is advantageous.
