Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth operation of the cafe during busy periods. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality sector while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times Handle customer orders efficiently and accurately, providing friendly service Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling snacks or light meals Manage cash register operations with basic maths skills for handling transactions Organise tasks effectively to manage time during peak hours Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth service throughout shifts Uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation in line with brand guidelines

Experience

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in a similar customer-facing role is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of

food safety

regulations and procedures is desirable Experience in
