Job Description

Passionate about coffee and team spirit? At Naked Coffee, we're looking for a Barista Supervisor who thrives on crafting joy, both in every cup and within our vibrant coffee community. You'll lead by example, mastering barista skills while guiding and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service and maintain a smooth operation.

Reporting to: General Manager

Responsibilities:

Coffee Craftsmanship and Leadership:

Exemplify barista excellence through flawless coffee preparation, latte art, and menu knowledge. Motivate and guide baristas, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment. Train new baristas on coffee, equipment, and customer service, ensuring consistent brand standards. Weekly team meetings with checklists, addressing priorities and celebrating successes. Opening & Closing: Lead the team in opening and closing procedures, leaving the shop sparkling for the next day.
Undertake responsibilities assigned by the General Manager, such as:

Scheduling: Develop and manage employee schedules, ensuring optimal staff coverage. Health & Safety: Review and sign off on Monday H&S paperwork, conduct weekly 30-minute walkarounds, and document findings. Timekeeper: Manage team attendance and timesheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Wastage: Record, monitor and manage waste. HR & Recruitment Support: Assist with HR matters and recruitment needs. Ordering: Manage sandwich orders, lunch & consumable orders, and Booker/Delicedefrance orders.
Customer Service:

Service Star: Deliver exceptional customer service with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. Problem Solver: Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Coffee Concierge: Guide customers through the menu, recommending perfect pairings and coffee experiences.
Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of barista experience, preferably including supervisory or leadership roles. Exceptional coffee preparation skills and latte art expertise. Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills. Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Detail-oriented and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing employee schedules and payroll. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food industry. Experience with inventory management and ordering systems.

Pay: Up to 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
