Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including workstations, equipment, and customer areas. Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring all items meet health and safety regulations. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours. Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices throughout the cafe.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety practices is crucial to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and engagement. Basic math skills are required for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a busy environment while maintaining quality service. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
