Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while following health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic. Passion for coffee and customer service with a friendly disposition.

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
