About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for great coffee, excellent customer service skills, and a positive attitude. You'll be responsible for preparing high-quality drinks, maintaining a clean working environment, and ensuring every customer receives an outstanding experience.

Key Responsibilities

Coffee & Beverage Preparation

Prepare high-quality coffees and specialty drinks to brand recipes and standards. Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment confidently and safely. Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and product quality. Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and other beverage supplies.

Customer Service

Provide a warm, welcoming service to all customers. Take orders efficiently and assist customers with menu choices. Handle customer queries or concerns professionally. Deliver a positive experience that encourages repeat visits.

General Duties

Maintain cleanliness of the barista station, equipment, and cafe floor. Follow health, hygiene, and safety guidelines at all times. Assist with restocking, stock rotation, and receiving deliveries. Support the wider team with tasks such as clearing tables or prepping food during busy periods.

Teamwork & Professionalism

Collaborate with team members to keep service smooth and efficient. Communicate clearly during busy periods to support flow and consistency. Represent the brand with professionalism, positivity, and pride.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Previous barista experience or strong familiarity with coffee preparation. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach.

Desirable:

Knowledge of specialty coffee techniques (e.g., latte art). Food handling or cafe experience. Passion for hospitality and learning new skills.
Pay: 12.50 per hour
