Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food preparation meets food safety standards and regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Engage with customers to take orders accurately and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions efficiently, employing basic math skills for accurate billing. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is highly desirable, showcasing familiarity with coffee preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong serving skills with a focus on customer engagement and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A friendly demeanour with exceptional communication skills to connect with customers effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
