Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and light food items. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, engaging with customers and contributing to a welcoming cafe atmosphere. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. A strong focus on food safety and time management is essential to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist customers with menu selections and provide excellent customer service in a friendly manner. Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly. Follow food safety standards and health regulations at all times. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts. Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods, demonstrating strong time management skills. Support food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling light snacks or pastries.

Skills

Proven

Barista experience

or familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is desirable. Knowledge of

food safety

standards to ensure hygiene compliance. Experience in

customers in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. Basic
