We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist customers by taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is an advantage. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
