We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the work area. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring freshness and quality. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic math skills for change calculations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Skills

Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficiency in food preparation techniques to assist in menu offerings. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. Effective time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
