We are currently recruiting for a Barista/Waiter/ress for our Spa Cafe here at The Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa, Edinburgh.


Our ideal candidate should provide a memorable, friendly and delectable dining experience for every guest, every time and will be responsible for overseeing the guest experience. They should be passionate about delivering a high quality dining experience, supporting colleagues and embracing and developing out-standing levels of customer satisfaction.


Day to Day duties to include but not limited to:


To assist with the preparation, presentation and serving of all food. The preparation of all hot and cold beverages. To be operationally responsible for the running of the One Spa Cafe To work with the management teams across both Food & Beverage but also Spa, to assist in the opening of the outlet. To be responsible for handling guest complaints, making service and product suggestions for improvements and cash handling. To assist in the co-ordination of catering aspects of wider Spa packages, from both a functional and a financial point of view.
Our ideal candidate should be able to work autonomously, whilst being aware enough to be able to ask for support when required; have a good knowledge of Food & Beverage service standards and practices; be visible in the operation, recognising and maintaining relationships with regular guests as well as cultivating relationships with new guests.


We are looking for a confident and effective communicator who is customer service orientated, a strong team player who can represent the brand


Previous experience in a fast paced environment is essential
