We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they enter our establishment.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong understanding of food safety practices.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
A passion for coffee and food preparation, with a willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage recipes.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
