We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring that each visit is enjoyable and memorable.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including workstations and seating areas. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.

Skills

Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of customers. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
