Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, creating high-quality beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant setting, engaging with customers and honing your skills in food and drink preparation. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the coffee station while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks Assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, equipment, and utensils in accordance with health and safety regulations Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system efficiently Restock supplies as needed to ensure availability of ingredients and disposables Follow food safety procedures at all times to guarantee hygiene standards are met Support food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service for all customers

Requirements

Prior experience as a

Barista

or in a similar customer-facing food service role is advantageous Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures Experience with

serving

customers in a fast-paced environment Basic

food preparation

skills and understanding of hygiene practices Good

basic maths

skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately Strong

time management

abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including weekends if required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.35-12.55 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
